Relocation by Invitation

An apartment belonging to Norwegian expats was lent to us for two weeks to create an art event.
In the borrowed apartment, we built 480 removal boxes into a large labyrinth with narrow passages, where the sparse amount of furniture was built into our new walls.
We created a complicated entry exploring bureaucracy with appointments to enter for 20 minutes at a specific time, Visitors had to present their access cards that we sent them by mail once they had made an appointment. We placed guards at the doors. Groups of up to 5 people were let into the space for 20 minutes.
When the visitors left they were handed an invitation to a meeting about the project a week later, here they were invited to talk about what they felt was essential to take with them when traveling or moving.
